A little bit about us!

Welcome to Pack 97 Norwalk, CT, the largest and most active Cub Scout pack in the area! We're dedicated to fostering camaraderie and character development among boys and girls through engaging activities and meaningful projects. Our dens meet regularly, with pack gatherings held every third Tuesday of the month at Cranbury Elementary School from September through May.

At Pack 97, we believe in empowering children to build friendships, lend a helping hand, and strive for their personal best. Through a blend of exciting outdoor adventures and impactful learning initiatives, we show kids that facing challenges can be both enjoyable and enriching. Our mission aligns with the Boy Scouts of America's ethos, aiming to instill ethical values and moral decision-making skills that last a lifetime.

Our Cub Scouts embark on a diverse range of activities, from games and skits to service projects and outdoor excursions. Each endeavor offers not only fun but also opportunities for personal growth, family involvement, and achievement. With a focus on family engagement, we recognize the vital role parents and adult family members play in supporting Scouts on their journey, regardless of their family structure. Beyond our regular monthly Den and Pack gatherings, we offer a diverse array of engaging activities scheduled throughout the year. Past highlights have encompassed thrilling adventures like hiking, camping, and white water rafting, as well as enriching experiences such as community service projects, participation in parades, and overnight stays at museums. We also delve into exciting pursuits like archery, outdoor survival skills training, and model rocketry. Our calendar is brimming with opportunities for fundraising efforts, sizzling BBQ cookouts, and so much more.
